How do you become certified to run a daycare at home?

To do this he should have completed an associates degree in birth through kindergarden at a local community college so he will have the proper knowledge. Aside from this, most cities require permission to have the home marked as a business by going through the city government. I do know some who keep children on the side without doing this, but they are basically glorified baby sitters and usually keep the money under the table. If he wants this to be his business he really needs to have the education and go through proper outlets first.
